This shoot was squeezed in just before the Christmas break and involved photographing five rooms covered in new wallpaper designs by Fromental, the handmade wallpaper and fabric manufacturers.

The property was sitting on the banks of the river Thames, which you can just about see in the shot above. It had recently been renovated and with the addition of Fromental’s wallpaper, looked incredible.

I especially liked the ‘Trellis’ wallpaper in this shot above. Only one small wall was decorated, but it compliments the room, filling the space between the modern kitchen units and outdoor space.

All images were shot with natural light mixed with the ambient lighting of the property. Different exposures were made and blended together in Photoshop. These photos will be used to help promote the new Weaves, Paling and Trellis wallpaper designs in magazines and online.

This recent job was to photograph Event Concept, an event design and technical production company, setting up at the National Portrait Gallery in London.

A Shrimp Bar Installed by Event Concept, The National Portrait Gallery, London 2011.

With only an hour and a half to complete, Event Concept’s team work at breakneck speed, with each team member knowing exactly what they have to do, and where they have to be. Three bars, including a shrimp bar and a working kitchen, lighting, flowers and a seating area had to be set up.

My job was to photograph the team and the installations in the set time, making sure I didn’t get in anyone’s way. The images will eventually be used as promotional material for Event Concept and Veveers Carter.

What a great way to spend a Monday morning, photographing Ballet dancers in lycra, posing in the grounds of Greenwich Naval College.

The photocall was to promote ‘Dance GB’, a special performance by English National Ballet, which will be taking place next year in the grounds of the Naval College to coincide with the Olympics.

The light, location, and the dancers all made it easy to get a fantastic set of photos, which I sent out for syndication through the Press Association.  I was also fortunate enough to have the top photo diplayed on the Canon Stand at the British Journal of Photography’s ‘Vision 2012′ show at Earls Court.

With the Liberal Democrats away on their yearly conference in Birmingham, it was the perfect time to photograph their newly decorated smoking room at ‘The National Liberal Club’ in central London.

Florin Interiors had recently renovated the room, bringing in new wallpaper, drapes, and refurbishing and re-tilling the pillars. The Basement Living and Kitchen area Photographed from the Wild Garden.

This 3 storey property in North London took almost a year to complete. It’s designer Sahran Abeysundara, from Alan Baker and Son’s Interior Design, started from an almost blank canvas, and provided, architectural services, project management, furniture, fabrics, and flooring.

It includes 2 children’s bedrooms, a master bedroom with walk in wardrobe, a studio, a television room, and the most amazing open planned living/Kitchen area which leads out into an incredible wild garden.

It couldn’t have been a more perfect day to photograph this property. The open planned living area, with only a large glass divide to separate it from the patio and garden, gave the ambience of a continental villa, which could have been a million miles away from London.

Wembley Stadium hosts Capital FM's Summertime Ball.

Back seat of the plane, no door, 1100′ up, 160mph, banking around Wembley Stadium, Awesome….

The plan was for 4 of us, the pilot, Capital FM Dj Sacha Brooks, the sound engineer and myself, to fly over Wembley Stadium, wave our wings, and broadcast a live feed to the crowd attending Capital FM’s Summertime Ball below.

Within a few minutes of leaving the airport the plane was above Wembley. We circumnavigated the stadium a number of times and made a couple of flights across the top, each time flipping the plane onto it’s side.

Shooting on a 200mm, and with such high speeds and vibration from the plane, the shutter speed had to be set at around 1/2000th of a second.

All in all it was an incredible experience, 2 flights above Wembley Stadium with the door off, thanks Capital FM and The Press Association for organising it.

Specialising in innovative glass solutions, GH Interior Glass, work with a range of clients including architects, home owners and builders, to craft customised and original interior glasswork. This particular job involved photographing 6 bathrooms at 5 different locations across the Kent countryside, all of which were GH Interior glass’ recent installations, and the images were being used for their brand new sales brochure.

April Blossom in Queen Mary's Garden, The Inner Circle, Regent's Park

April had brought the first signs of Spring to Regents Park,  and there was a hive of activity at the Open Air Theatre.   Everyone was preparing for the new season which kicks off on the 19th May with ‘The Lord of the Flies’.

Portraits of the executive director, William Village, and the Artistic Director, Timothy Sheader, were attempted back in October of last year, but the grounds of the theatre looked too shabby due to the time of year.  So it was decided to wait until the spring, when the park had had a chance to regrow.

The ‘Lord of the Flies’ set was being built on the day of the shoot, so there was limited space in the theatre. Luckily, however, there was still an opportunity to photograph them both inside the ampitheatre.

The portraits will be used on the theatre’s website and in the performance programs throughout 2011.

Over the last few months, Inhouse Interiors have been instrumental in the design and refurbishment of this house in South london. They’d created bespoke shelving units, cabinets, wardrobes, beds, dressing tables and even features of a walk in wardrobe.
